You get your painting from photo in 28 days. We also offer express service which is an ideal last minute gift for your loved one; it will just takes 18 days (we will charge 15% of the total cost for the express service)

What is the difference between your oil paintings and the prints I see everywhere else?
The prints that you can find on many sites on the Internet and in many stores are just printed images of original paintings. The handmade oil portrait on Paintaportrait are made by our professional talented artist. We guaranteed all the artworks from us are 100% handmade by real live artists.
What is custom oil paintings?
Custom oil painting are oil paintings custom painted, unique for you. Include commissioned portrait, custom landscape oil painting, commissioned pet portrait, commissioned portrait from old photograph, family portrait, baby portrait, group portrait and even combined painting from certain picture and personal picture.
Can you combine images from several photos into a single custom painting?
Yes, you can have a painting created from several photos, just give our artists direction when you fill in the order form.
Will my portrait be signed?
We will only sign your portrait if you specifically request this when you place your order. If you wish to have your portrait signed, you must place a checkmark in the field regarding the signature when you place your online order.

Do you charge extra for complicated backgrounds or custom paintings?
NO, we DO NOT charge extra for any special requests you might have. The prices we charge are the ones you see on the pricing page.
Which photo should I chose to turn into painted portrait?
Basically, if our artists can clearly see the details of your photo we can make a painted portrait from it. Still, from our experience, we recommend to pay attention to:
Send photos that flatter the photographed person. If you don't like the way you look in the photo, if you think that your smile doesn't look real, or your nose looks too big, try to pick another photo. Don't expect the artists to make the person look much better than he looks in the photo.
Try to send photos with the highest resolution. If your photo is less than 100 KB size, its resolution may be too low and our artists may have difficulties to make a good painting from a photo that doesn't clearly show details.
Pay attention to the background. You have a beautiful photo of your little boy, for example, but the background is filled with details that will detract from the painted portrait. In such a case, you can tell our artists to use a one color background of any color you choose. Just mention it in the comments box, right after you upload the photo.
Can I turn hardcopy photographs to oil painting?
Yes, you can! You may send your hardcopy photographs to: Paintaportrait 2Bath Place, Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3QB.

Do I need to choose a frame for my painting?
There are two shipping options:
1) Rolled- the painting will be shipped rolled in an art tube. This option is totally free of charge.
2) Gallery wrap- the painting will be stretched on a wooden form, but this option is for oil painting only.
